Backwater07-30两天半看完，满五星评价。情节是William Stoner作为一个普通大学教授的一生。全书绝赞的地方很多，比如借由stoner感官对特定场景的主观而细致描述（想起托尔斯泰），以及婚外情部分，没有一个明显的出格字眼但是满纸都是爱意，尤其延展到后面情节那个书扉页的To W.S.。全书基本找不到缺点，如果非要有大概就是stoner的性格演化实在是太快（毕竟只有300页要写完他一生，无可厚非）。这很可能是我今年看的所有小说里面最好看最赞的一本，以后会成为我评价一本书好不好看的标杆级作品之一。

Adiósardour04-18谁没见过“the last radiance of the setting sun”的景象。谁又不曾经历“衰退”。然而没人能把个体在整体自然前的衰弱和无力表现的这么真挚，那些回光返照的，是平凡生活里的光辉，那闪现的永恒时刻，带着疲倦的振奋、瞬间的痛苦，看来太寻常，同时也太美。允许他们出现在自己的生活中并尽力保持自身不受损伤，他沉默而抑郁的生命是如此鲜活，鲜血气喘吁吁地从里面喷涌，稍后就凝结成了颤抖的啫喱。
